Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional, for depth of flavor
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional, for spice
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For Garnish (Optional):

  • Extra Parmesan for serving
  • Lemon wedges for drizzling
  • Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

  • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss them with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Step 2: Air-Fry the Brussels Sprouts

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  • Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
  • Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crispiness.

Step 3: Add the Parmesan & Finish Cooking

  • Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts.
  • Air fry for 2 more minutes until the cheese is melted and crispy.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Transfer to a serving dish and top with extra Parmesan, fresh parsley, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  • Serve immediately as a side dish or healthy snack

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  • Make it Vegan: Use nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan.
  • Extra Crispy Tip: After tossing in oil, let the Brussels sprouts sit for 5 minutes before air-frying for better texture.
